A strong Indigenous American man carries an eagle in one hand and a wolf in the other. His stature and countenance appear solemn, likely an expression of awareness of and appreciation for the life he carries. Within Native American culture, wolves can be associated with courage, strength, loyalty, and successful hunting. Eagles are often highly revered and considered sacred, representative of honesty, truth, majesty, wisdom, power, and freedom. The piece exudes strength and respect. Cast in beautiful, golden light, there is a sacredness to this scene.
