Sitting on a bundle of hay, a farmer gazes out towards the rows of crops that have just been harvested.  Lines of produce stretch from edge to edge of the canvas, emphasizing the amount of time and labor this man has invested into his land. In the distance, a farmhouse beckons the workers to come home after a long day of work to rest and relax. The main figure’s gaze towards his field suggests there is still more work to be done, and the day will continue.
