An old barn at the end of a crooked fence, a tractor parked outside its door. The golden trail behind the vehicle adds a warm glow to an otherwise cold but fresh blanket of snow. Deep, cool blues and greens of the pines create a stark contrast against the fiery autumnal colors of the tree on the right and a vivid reminder of the changing seasons. Richly colored impressionistic strokes give the painting an ethereal quality that transports the viewer to a peaceful and idyllic landscape.
