Dark water flows through Australia’s Ormiston Gorge, calm and glassy. Red rock forms the gorge’s tall walls, streaking the scene in bright hues of orange and red. The viewer’s attention is pulled toward the aspen’s stark white bark and neon green foliage which glows against the warm stone background. The scene is painted in vivid colors and skillfully captures the landscape’s diverse textures.
