Indigenous American men gather in the center of this scene, each man armed and on horseback. Their expressions are serious, perhaps somber, as they commune. The landscape is breathtaking, with dreamy cliffs spanning the hint of a coastline. Brush fills the foreground, highlighted and textured by glowing yellow flicks of grass.
