A cluster of wiry trees brace themselves against the wind in vibrant hues of purple and gold. Using impressionistic strokes of color, Borg perfectly captures the affect of light as it filters through shimmering leaves.
After emigrating from Sweden in 1901, Borg settled in California, where he quickly fell in love with the beautifully rough landscapes of the American Southwest.
