A lone figure prepares to depart from his camp in a vast, hazy landscape. The recently extinguished fire behind him still emits wisps of smoke as he loads up his horse and prepares to move on. The soft, impressionistic brushstrokes and muted color palette evoke a sense of stillness and tranquility, while the warm hues of the morning sky add a sense of hope and possibility to the scene. Sagebrush stands prominently in the foreground.
