Surrounded by thriving greenery and the posts of a wooden fence, a respectable home stands tall as the subject of this piece. Using an array of brightly colored watercolors, Larsen composes the home of Allen Weeks. Weeks was captain to the Allen Weeks Company, which began its trek from Iowa to Salt Lake City with 226 individuals. They travelled from July to October of 1852.
