Wyoming’s Delta Lake appears here in breathtaking detail. The mountains are textured, the snow is sloped, and shadows fall across the lower half of the scene. The water rests, still and reflective. Though much of the palette is dark, the landscape appears engulfed in natural light. The artist’s atmospheric and rustic landscapes are reminiscent of the Renaissance.
